About Amelia

I have been working in childcare and education for 15 years, with a focus in infant and toddler care, though I also have a lot of experience with all ages. I will gladly send you my full resume. During this time, I have been a nanny/sitter for many families, provided care in daycares & preschool settings, tutored professionally, taught for and managed multiple after-school programs in DCPS & Northern VA schools, taught a full year of Kindergarten for a home-school pod group, & worked as a children's performer for DreamWorks ICE events - all giving me a lot of experience with multiple children at once. I also provide Overnight Newborn care as a trained postpartum doula. I am transitioning my career into being a Birth Professional. I am currently a certified Birth & Postpartum Doula, & Newborn Care Specialist. I welcome overnight care inquiries and am accepting birthing clients.
