About Amelia

Hi, I'm Amelia (she/her/ella)! I recently graduated magna cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis, and now work full-time in Washington, D. C., in policy and advocacy. Alongside my academic and professional work, I've always loved caring for kids. I previously served as a volunteer music teacher at a school for special needs toddlers, an experience that taught me patience, adaptability, and the joy of helping children learn and grow. I bring the same sense of responsibility, organization, and calm that I've used in professional settings to childcare. Families can count on me to follow routines carefully, keep children safe, and communicate clearly. At the same time, I love making babysitting fun - reading stories, helping with homework, or coming up with creative activities to keep kids engaged.
