About Amelia

Hi families! I'm currently pursuing my bachelor's degree online at UAB. I also currently have a part time job at Valleydale Early Learning Center as a 2-year-old teacher. I've spent the last 7 years in some form of official nannying/teaching, but have been caring for kids my whole life! I received my first nannying job at 14. Growing up, my family was a foster family, so I constantly had kids coming in and out of my house. Being a foster family has helped me grow experience in taking care of kids who might need some extra help and attention. Outside of loving on kiddos, you can find me taking long walks at the park, reading in a local coffee shop, or volunteering at my church! I'd describe my personality as energetic, caring, and intentional!
