About Amelia

I'd describe my personality as lively, inquisitive, and fun-loving. I enjoy making others laugh, asking questions. I like working with kids because they're new to the world and it is a gratifying task to teach them about the world around them. They usually have a natural-born curiosity that I think should be encouraged and enriched. I started working with kids when I was in high school, working as a summer camp counselor assistant. I then became a camp counselor in college. In graduate school, I was a science tutor for high school students in summer programs. In my spare time, I like to play my Nintendo Switch, go to festivals, go to trivia nights, watch movies, and travel One thing you should know about me is I want to make my interactions with children as fun and informative as possible. My skills include an understanding of child development, patience, creativity, and communication.
