About Amelia

Hi, I'm Amelia! I love being a nanny & sitter because I love kids and helping families, i've been helping families for years and I love it! I am a very patient, calm, flexible, and easygoing person. When I care for children, I use my child psychology background and follow a "gentle parenting" approach where I reason, understand, and empathize with children first. I am a recent MSc graduate in Women's & Public Health, I have a BSc in Psychology and Anthropology on the pre-medical track, and also am a recently certified Birth & Postnatal Doula. I am also EMT, CPR, AED, and First Aid trained, was a JV swimmer on the swim team for 10 years, so I can definitely help with swimming supervision and even lessons if needed! I also studied nutrition and love to cook and meal prep so I will look forward to any help you need with food, cooking, meal preparation, etc. as well! A bit about me: I love to do yoga, hike/go for nature walks, I make herbal tinctures in my free time and love to cook.
