Making a positive difference in people's lives is what drives me. I discovered my passion for senior caregiving through supporting older adults in my community and religious congregation. Seeing the challenges families face when caring for their loved ones, especially with older family members of my own, inspired me to offer reliable support. With some college education and a year of experience, I provide services such as transportation, errands, personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and mobility assistance. I'm also certified in CPR and First Aid. I understand the importance of adapting to changing routines, de-escalating stressful situations, and handling confusion with patience and empathy. I prioritize respecting the independence of those I care for and communicate with families through their preferred method, offering verbal updates or written reports. My friendly, approachable nature and willingness to listen make me a comforting presence.
