About Shakira

Hi my is Shakira and my goal is to make a difference and shedding Gods light through me in someone's life is what drives me. For the past four years, I've had the privilege of supporting adults and seniors in maintaining their independence and well-being. My graduate degree complements my hands-on experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Certified Home Health Aide. I am also trained in CPR and First Aid. I offer transportation, run errands, provide light housekeeping, and prepare meals. I adapt to changing routines, de-escalate stressful situations, and incorporate memory care activities. I am patient, compassionate, and friendly. I prioritize earning trust and communicating clearly with families through verbal updates, texts, or phone calls, according to their preferences. Ultimately, I aim to provide the kind of care I would want for my own family.
