About Amber

Hi! My name is Amber. I have been a stay at home mom for the last 6 years. My daughters are both school age now and this mama is ready to get back out in the world! I have done part- time home care a little bit during my time as a stay at home mom . I do have previous experience though (prior to having children) My most recent client was a quadriplegic individual roughly 2 years ago. That ended due to that person moving out of state. As a child, I spent a lot of time with my great-grandparents and helped care for them. It was very rewarding. I'm looking for a job that allows me to build a relationship with a family, not just a "client". I did CNA classes right out of high school and started working in a nursing home following that. I also did home health as well. One thing you should know about me is that I strive to please . I don't like to sit still for long. I like to stay busy. I have experience in skilled nursing, dementia care, and home health. I know how to use a hoyer lift.
