About Amanda

Hi! My name is Amanda :) I have been doing home health care for 30 years. I enjoy getting to know my clients and their families and being there when they need a helping hand. I've worked in nursing homes and I learned that I prefer to work one on one with my clients to be able to provide better care. I believe everyone is entitled to their dignity and if I can help just one person stay in their own home instead of a nursing home, then I've made a difference :) I have experience with Alzheimer's/dementia, transferring patients, personal care i. e bathing, dressing, skin care, oral hygiene, medication reminders and light housekeeping. I'm an animal lover and I am a nonsmoker. I value open communication so if I'm not meeting your expectations, please let me know.
