Hi there! I believe that every child deserves an education as unique as they are. I graduated from UC Irvine with a degree in Education Sciences and a specialization in Children's Learning and Development in 2018. After working as a preschool teacher for a year, I decided to pursue my Educational Therapy Certification, which I received in 2021. I've been working as a certified Educational Therapist since 2021 and I worked as a private tutor prior to that. I have taught students of all ages, both online and in person. I have extensive experience working with children with ADHD, dyslexia, and ASD, as well as neurotypical students. In my free time, I enjoy playing pickleball, rock climbing, reading, and baking. Amber is a caring, insightful, and gifted therapist. My daughter felt a genuine connection with her and I would hear them laughing as they worked through tasks. That joy and closeness were especially important when having a session on zoom, after a long day of school. Amber made my child feel very aware of her gifts and proud of her strengths. In doing so, Amber made the hard work of addressing some of her challenges still a very positive time for her. My daughter trusted her and genuinely enjoyed their sessions. My daughter made great progress towards our educational goals, and also great strides in areas for growth we had not even been aware of after our initial educational evaluation with the referring clinician. Any family would be lucky to have Amber on their team!
