About Cassidy

Hello! I'm looking to expand my tutoring availability for in person tutoring at coffee shops or student homes. I'm a credentialed math teacher with a masters degree in education. I have experience teaching math in middle school and high school. I also tutor for college courses including: Algebra 2, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Linear Algebra. I have experience working with students with IEPs and learning disabilities. I know how to teach using a variety of methods to best support each student's learning style. My strengths include providing students with visual math supports, word problem strategies, and test taking practice. I can also tutor small groups of up to three students for the same hourly rate. My current tutoring students describe me as patient, kind, and helpful. My goal is to help students become more confident with math and provide the extra teacher support that most students need, but schools don't have the time or staffing to provide.
