About Amber

Hello! My name is Amber, and I'm a dedicated childcare provider with 10+ years of experience looking to connect with new families. I've worked in both private family settings and home daycares, gaining experience with infants through early elementary-aged children. A rewarding role was assisting in two home-based daycare programs. The first cared for ages 1-6, where I supported routines like meal prep and planning enriching outings. On alternating days, I worked at a second daycare focused on infants and toddlers, caring for up to four children ages 4 months to 2 years. My childcare philosophy centers on creating a safe space where children feel empowered to explore and learn at their own pace. I encourage child-led play and developmentally appropriate activities to support each child's unique growth. Outside of childcare, I enjoy embroidery and spending time in nature. I'm CPR, First Aid, and AED certified, fully vaccinated, and happy to provide references upon request.
