I have been an Elementary teacher since 2014 (full-time substitute/babysitter/tutor beforehand). I graduated in 2012 with honors from FAU. I have taught the most in the grades K-4 with previous substitute teaching in upper grades 6-8th grade. Currently, I tutor after school in grades K-5 while teaching full-time in Elementary with mixed grades 1st to 4th. I am very hands-on and I believe children learn the best when they are given a variety of strategies and tools to be successful with. My son is 13 years old and has autism and ADHD so learning and schoolwork or any academic work does not come easy to him. she has been so very patient and flexible with him and helping him get through his virtual school lessons (in person). I highly recommend Amber especially if you’re looking for someone who’s flexible and patient and personable with the kids.
