With 10 years of experience and a college degree, I'm passionate about helping students unlock their full potential. As an American Tutoring Association certified teacher, I focus on building confidence and a love for learning, not just memorization. I adapt my teaching methods by actively listening to students and observing their interactions with new material, varying my strategies with visual aids, hands-on activities, and open discussions. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples and break down complex problems into manageable steps. I believe communication is essential for understanding student needs and building trust. Seeing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills is the most rewarding aspect of being a tutor. I am also certified in Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and Student accommodation plans (504). I am comfortable tutoring in a variety of locations and subjects. CPR and First Aid certified.
