About Amaya

Unlocking your student's unique potential is the foundation of my teaching philosophy. With six years of experience across subjects including Math, Science, and Test Preparation, I create an engaging, patient environment where students from elementary to high school thrive. I assess individual learning styles by observing how you interact with new material, allowing me to adapt my approach through visual aids, hands-on activities, or discussions. When concepts become challenging, I bridge the gap by connecting topics to your personal interests and celebrating every small success. I believe open communication is essential to building the trust necessary for academic growth. Seeing your confidence flourish as you master new skills is the most rewarding part of my work. I hold a college degree and am certified. I look forward to partnering with you to reach your goals.
