About Amaya

Hello, My name is Amaya. I recently graduated from LSU with a degree in Psychology. In the past I worked at a daycare as a Teacher's Assistant where I worked in the infants and toddlers room. There I worked on essentials like changing, feeding, and burping the babies and doing circle time with the toddlers. I work with STEM NOLA off and on. STEM goes around the country and we teach children k-12 science, technology, engineering and mathematics based projects in fun ways to keep the stimulated while learning. Additionally, I am the oldest of 4 and the only daughter, so I am super organized and dependable with all household tasks. I've worked with two families through Care. The first family was a 2 and 4-year-old, I picked them up from school and hung out with them until mom got home. The second family was a 6-year-old with ASD, her mom left me a review. I woke her up, got her ready for school, dropped her off, and sometimes I would pick her up and drop her off at home!
