About Amaya

I've always loved caring for children all over the spectrum! I started at 16, and over the past 10 years, I've gained experience caring for families and their children of all ages, from newborns to preteens. And of course, the furry family members too! :) My goal is to create a safe and warm environment where your child feels comfortable and understood by me. I believe it takes patience, calmness, and taking the time to understand each child's unique personality and needs. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, lots of long walks with Strava! playing sports, crafting, listening to music, baking, snuggling with my fur ball cats in my cozy little east side apartment!- And really just spending time with the people I love whenever given the opportunity. I believe communication with parents is very important and I'm always happy to provide updates and share any questions or concerns I have along the way.
