Hi! My name is Amaris (Am-uh-ris) and I am an easygoing, fun, resourceful, and patient nanny. I have been active in childcare for over 7 years. I recently moved to Prospect Park in Brooklyn. I have worked in the nonprofit field for a couple of years and I am looking for a part time nanny position while I finish up grad school! I have served as a full time nanny for 4 years and an after school instructor for 3 years and I have experience working in classrooms, churches, synagogues, mosques, , and weddings. I am the eldest of 5 and I love singing, dancing, and playing games to interact with children. I have a progressive approach when working with children and implement practices such as yoga, coloring, mindfulness, etc. I look at situations holistically and focus on the needs of the individual child vs grouping them together and ignoring their uniqueness. I love kids and am searching for families who have similar values!
