About Amaris

Unlocking your unique potential is at the heart of my teaching philosophy. I focus on building your confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. By actively listening and observing how you interact with new material, I adapt my methods--using visual aids, hands-on activities, or discussions--to suit your specific needs. When concepts become challenging, I connect them to your personal interests and celebrate your small successes to keep you motivated. I believe open communication with you and your family is essential to building the trust necessary for your growth. My favorite part of tutoring is witnessing that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. Whether we meet at your home, the library, or online, I am dedicated to creating a supportive environment where you can thrive. I look forward to helping you reach your goals and discovering your brilliance together.
