About Amara

Hi! I'm Amara. I have 5 years of childcare experience, working with ages 6 months to teens with a focus on therapeutic care. I'm very patient, understanding, calm and fun, and I always make sure kids feel supported, understood, and safe. I started off as a as a preschool substitute/teacher, and later taught art and music at a pediatric therapy facility, where I gained firsthand experience supporting kids with different developmental, emotional, and sensory needs. I've also worked with fostered youth, helping create a stable, calm, and caring environment where they can feel comfortable and free to be themselves.
