About Amara

Hey y'all! My name is Amara, and I have been a proud pet owner since I was 4 years old. I absolutely love animals. My family has always considered our pets to be an extension of our family, so rest assured that if you hire me you will be receiving high quality care for your furry/feathery family member. I have medical experience, having worked at a veterinary clinic as a veterinary assistant for a year, working in preventative and diagnostic care - in fact, I'm hoping to go to vet school in the next few years after I get my prerequisites done! During my middle and high school years, I used to volunteer at animal shelters and understand how important positive interaction is for animals. I've taken care of all kinds of animals in the past, especially large active dogs. We live in such a beautiful city that I try to spend as much time outside as possible, and it's all the better when I have a little buddy to throw a Frisbee to. I'm an extremely responsible and honest person, with an extremely clean record: I've never received so much as a speeding ticket (knock on wood)! I have a solid work history and a very strong work ethic. I pride myself on always being prompt and providing the best possible care, and always keeping the client informed. If you select me to look after your pet, you can rest assured that he/she will be in very capable and compassionate hands.
