About Amanda

Hi! I'm Amanda, a 29-year-old pediatric emergency room nurse with 7 years of experience caring for children of all ages. I'm CPR and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certified and bring a strong knowledge of childhood development, safety, and compassionate care to every family I work with. In addition to my nursing career, I've held multiple paid nanny and babysitting positions and have taught classes to community school age children throughout high school and college. While I don't have children of my own, I frequently care for friends' kids and truly enjoy building trusting, positive relationships with children and families. I'm calm, patient, and attentive, and I'm comfortable caring for children in both routine and unexpected situations. I'm also very comfortable around pets as I have a 9-year-old dog named Jackson and a 2-year-old cat named Miso.
