About Amanda

Hi! I worked at an animal shelter in Austin running the intake and foster care department for 10 years, then I switched to childcare and worked in a NAECY accredited pre-school for 4 years. I currently work at a fantastic daycare part-time and am looking to help out more families. I have a wonderful 5-year-old daughter as well. I have a college degree from The University of Texas, as well as current First Aid and CPR Training. My approach is both creative and friendly. I enjoy playing games, doing arts and crafts, enjoying nature, and coming up with educational activities. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children. I can also help with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, and swimming supervision. I am happy to follow parents' preferred communication methods and am very comfortable enforcing household rules. Knowing I can make a positive impact on a child's life brings me immense satisfaction, and I hope to bring that same joy to your family.
