About Amanda

I am a college grad with a passion for teaching. The year after graduation I spent in a full time nannying position in which I would assist the two older children with homework in English and Math daily. The past year I tutored a child (Middle School) in Writing and English and had success raising his grade from a C to an A. I also have had success working with High School students. Comfortable with tutoring across various subjects, will accommodate the child's needs. Strongest in English, Writing, Reading, History, Science, and Spanish. Other strengths include teaching and enforcing organization skills, note-taking skills, time management skills, study and memorization skills.
