About Amanda

Hello! My name is Amanda. I have dedicated the last 20 years to supporting families as a reliable caregiver. I hold a degree in elementary education, with an additional focus on early child development. I worked at a Montessori preschool, was a camp counselor, and a nanny. I have my CPR and first aid certification. I have a clean driving record and reliable transportation. I am also a mom to a 4-year-old. I use respectful parenting techniques, while building a positive rapport. I am calm and patient, and able to set boundaries and follow routines. When creating lessons I utilize a mixture of Montessori, Waldorf, and play- based pedagogy. I can also provide activities that help regulate nervous systems and/or create an engaging play experience through sensory bins. I don't use screens and facilitate lots of outdoor time. I will strive to provide a safe, routine focused, creative spaces for your child to grow.
