About Amanda

I have several years of experience working with students across a variety of ages, learning styles, and academic needs in both private and charter school settings. My background includes teaching elementary and middle school students in subjects such as reading, writing, math, and comprehension, while creating supportive and engaging learning environments that help students grow in both confidence and skill. I also have training in structured literacy and evidence-based reading instruction, including Orton-Gillingham and Lindamood-Bell methodologies, which has equipped me to support students with dyslexia and other learning differences. I'm passionate about helping students build strong foundational skills while making learning encouraging, personalized, and approachable. Beyond academics, I value building positive relationships with students and helping them feel seen, capable, and motivated to learn!!!
