Hello parents! I have been caring for children for the last 13 years. For the last 6 years I've been living in Westchester County, NY, and I'm excited to move to Minneapolis at the end of January! I have done everything from occasional date night babysitting to being a full time live-in nanny, watching up to three children at a time, ranging in age from 1 month to 15 years. I have experience with twins and children with special needs (autism and ADHD). I'm passionate about caring for children; I love getting to know the kids I work with and helping them grow into vibrant individuals! A little about me: growing up, I loved to do crafts; I played 3 instruments; played soccer and softball; and rigorously studied classical ballet for 10 years. I also grew up with pets in the house so I will be comfortable with any furry members of your family! In my free time, I like crocheting and rock climbing. I have strong references and a car. Mandy is a wonderful caregiver. She helped my family for several months before she found him more permanent position. If I had had the hours to offer her, I most certainly would have hired her full-time. She is capable, responsible, and self-motivating. I never had to worry about her being late or coming home early, and she always thought of wonderful activities to engage the children that were educational. She respected all the boundaries that I set and took them into consideration when caring for the kids. They love her and ask after her still :-) I would be happy to hire her again if our needs fit her job requirements in the future.
