About Amanda

Create relationships with young student intended to motivate curiosity as tool for sustainable lifelong learning. With a college degree and a year of experience teaching in elementary and middle school environments, I prioritize building confidence and patience as essential measures towards accessing their potential to learn and master new topics and develop critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. I aim to best understand needs by actively listening and observing how they engage with new material from both an academic and personal perspective. To keep students engaged, connecting complex concepts to real-world situations and celebrating every small success along the way are effective methods of learning at any stage. Clear, consistent communication with parents is also necessary - this fosters a supportive, collaborative environment vital for a child's academic success. I hope to build trusting relationships with students intended to cater best to their learning needs!
