Hi families! I'm Amanda, and I'm looking for a wonderful family to grow with and support. I truly believe it takes a village to raise a family, and I'd love to be part of yours! I have 10+ years of experience as a nanny and babysitter, working with children of all ages-from newborns and toddlers to elementary/middle schoolers. I've also cared for children with disabilities and twins. Most of my nannying took place in my late teens and early twenties, and after recently leaving the corporate world, I realized how much I missed working with kids! I have a clean background and driving record and am very pet-friendly (I have 3 dogs!). Amanda did an outstanding job looking after my 1, 4 and 7 year old kids. She was diligent and very helpful not just with watching the kids but structured play activities, done homework and put baby to sleep all at the same time. She made them healthy meals and kept them structured and organized. She took the kids outside, which I value a lot and brought them back tired and smiling. She also respected our schedule and calmed down any meltdowns in a very respectful but steady way. I would love to have her back when we return to the area!
