I have worked as a full and part-time nanny to families in the Washington, D. C. metro area for 8 years. I relocated to Ocala Florida area with my husband in 2009; and have been blessed to have helped 3 lovely families since arrival. Children are my great delight. I have experience with newborns, toddlers, and preschoolers. I also have worked lovingly with a child with autism. The busy families for which I worked have relied on me to prepare meals for their children and drive them to and from school. To Whom It May Concern, I’m happy to write this 5+ star review for Yolanda (Tita), who has been our nanny since August 2023, when our son was just over one year old. From the start, Tita was warm, dependable, and incredibly attentive. She quickly earned our trust and became a steady, positive presence in our home. She has a natural way with children, patient, calm, playful, and intuitive, and she always prioritized our son’s safety, routines, and development. She supported our son through important toddler milestones and kept him engaged with age-appropriate play, learning, and structure, while still making sure he felt cared for and secure. Our son absolutely loves her, and it’s been very clear how comfortable and happy he is in her care. Tita is reliable, communicative, and respectful of our household. She shows up prepared, takes initiative, and handles responsibility with maturity and care. As working parents, having someone we could fully trust was invaluable, and she consistently delivered that peace of mind. We’ve had to greatly reduce her schedule as our son is now entering school, which is the only reason for this transition. Otherwise, we would happily continue working with her. I would recommend Yolanda without hesitation to any family looking for a caring, trustworthy, and capable nanny.
