About Amanda

For over 10 years, I've been helping elementary students unlock their potential and achieve their academic goals. I believe every student learns differently, so I actively listen and adapt my teaching methods using visual aids, hands-on activities, and open discussions. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples and celebrate every success. Communication is key, so I provide regular updates to parents to foster a collaborative learning environment. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment and seeing their confidence grow is the most rewarding part of being a tutor. I am CPR and First Aid trained. I would love to help your student thrive! Each day I have a 4. 5 hour time slot where I help your child with their studies. I also teach a different extracurricular activity each day. Feel free to reach out with any questions!
