About Elizabeth

For over 10 years, I've been helping students unlock their potential. I believe every student can succeed with the right support. My approach focuses on building confidence and a genuine love for learning, going beyond simple memorization. I adapt my methods by listening to and observing how students interact with new material, and I vary my teaching strategies to accommodate their needs. I keep students motivated by connecting challenging topics to their interests and celebrating every success. Communication is essential; I provide regular updates to parents, fostering a collaborative learning environment. As a certified teacher experienced with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and student accommodation plans (504), I am equipped to support diverse learners. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding part of tutoring. I tutor in Math, English, Science, Test Preparation, and more, for Elementary, Middle, and High School students.
