About Amanda

Nurturing young minds is a true passion of mine. I'm driven to positively impact children's lives. My undergrad is in Speech Pathology and Audiology. I did attend a Masters program studying Chinese Medicine but after that I dedicated my life to raising a family. I have 5 children age 25-10. My claim to fame was a school garden and a non profit spreading joy through hula hoops. My personality is creative, imaginative, friendly, and approachable. I love kids and my favorite ages are 3-7, although I love babies also. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and educational games with children. I enjoy going to parks, museums, and love having fun. I am comfortable caring for up to three children, ages newborn to 11. I follow the parents' lead when enforcing household rules and always communicate using their preferred method. I have completed training in CPR and First Aid. I am excited to bring my enthusiasm and dedication to your family.
