About Amanda

Experienced aunt, graduate student, lover of coloring, pets, and playtime. Looking to spend the summer hanging with your family! My first job with children was babysitting 4 young kids at 13 years old. After that, I worked in many childcare jobs including grade-level aftercare at age 16, summer camp bus aide jobs at 18, and special education jobs at 20. Once I graduated college I focused on my professional career and became a project manager at a large successful tech company. After getting laid off this past year I reflected on what I truly desired to do for a living and determined project management was not the path for me. I have decided to focus on my love for helping kids and I am earning my master's degree in education concentrating in school counseling.
