About Amanda

Hi! I'm a caring and experienced educator with over 7 years working with children ages 6-14. I have a Master's in Education and a strong background in both general and special education, so I'm really comfortable supporting a wide range of needs, personalities, and routines. I'm naturally calm, patient, and very attentive. I love building real connections with kids whether that's helping with homework, playing games, or just being someone they feel safe and comfortable around. I try to create a relaxed, supportive environment where kids can be themselves while still having structure and consistency. I'm also mindful about communication and happy to work closely with families to keep things consistent at home. Overall, I just really enjoy being a steady, positive presence in a child's day and supporting them however they need :)
