About Amanda

Unlocking a student's unique potential drives my passion for education. With 10 years of experience, I specialize in elementary instruction across subjects ranging from Math and Science to Art and Study Skills. As an American Tutoring Association certified educator, I prioritize building confidence over rote memorization. I adapt my teaching style through visual aids, hands-on activities, and open communication to ensure every lesson resonates. By breaking complex concepts into manageable steps and celebrating small wins, I foster a genuine love for learning. I believe that consistent, transparent dialogue with parents creates a supportive environment for long-term success. Whether helping with test preparation or Special Education, I find the greatest reward in watching a student's self-assurance grow as they master new skills. I look forward to bringing my supportive, interactive approach to your home or school to help your child thrive.
