About Amanda

Hi! I'm Amanda, from Brazil, currently living in the U. S. I came to the U. S. as an au pair and now have several years of experience caring for children of all ages, including those with special needs. I'm also a certified nursing technician in Brazil. I started working with children at 18 and later volunteered at my church nursery, caring for nine babies aged 4 months to 1 year. That experience truly shaped my passion and confidence in early childhood care. Now, I care for two wonderful girls (ages 1 and 4) three days a week. I prepare meals (they love Brazilian food!), take them to the park, and read lots of books. I love helping children grow through play, storytelling, and learning activities. I also enjoy teaching Portuguese and learning from the kids too. I'm calm, patient, and responsible. I'm excited to connect with a family who values trust, kindness, and a caring environment.
