About Amanda Kaye

Hello! I'm Amanda, and I'm a current nursing major from San Jose State University. As a current nursing student and daycare worker, I have much experience in caring for children, doing tasks such as diaper changes, close supervision, and homework help. I have prior experience in working as a summer elementary program teacher for 2 summers, where I would help lead teachers build curriculum and assist in projects. Additionally, I helped raise my younger sister, and I would assist in diaper changes, close supervision, and bottle feeding. My passion for childcare extends into my career goals. After nursing school, I wish to either work with pediatric patients or babies who need a little extra help in the NICU. In the babysitting role, I can assist with carpooling and light housekeeping, and run errands such as grocery shopping. I've undergone First Aid and CPR training, and my education includes 2 years of nursing coursework and early child development. Thank you for your consideration!
