About Amanda

Hi families! My name is Amanda, I am an experienced caregiver with a background in Art Education. I received my degree from Appalachian State University in 2024. Since then, I have worked as a nanny for the sweetest toddler who is now off to school! Nannying was a great fit for me and I can't wait to start my next role. I love working with children because they are naturally curious and enjoy learning. I love learning alongside the kids I work with. Educational activities, practicing reading skills, and spending time exploring nature are priorities for me when nannying. In the past I have worked as an art instructor, camp counselor, and caregiver. I have worked with all ages, infancy through teenagers. There is something different to love at each age range. I am comfortable working with multiple children at once and encourage play dates! In my free time I like to swim, read, and play with my lovely dog, Ellie. Looking forward to meeting you!
