About Ava

Hey there! My name is Ava. I live in Boone North Carolina and I am currently a student at Appalachian State University. I am looking for long term work to care for kids and/or pets! I nannied for my previous family for a year, they had 6 children (ages 2-13). I love kiddos and learning about my new families. I like working with kids because they're balls of fun and energy. There's always something creative to do and I love seeing them embrace their new ideas. I started working with kids when I was 15, and I would babysit for people in my area, but, I have worked for my church in childcare since I was 12. In my spare time, I like to read, ski, shop, take my dog for a run, and go to coffee shops with my favorite people. One thing you should know about me is I am an open book. I love partake in new activities that embrace new learning curves and ideas. I am open to being trained on exactly how you (as families) like things done. I am open to criticism, failing, and trying again!
