About Amanda

Hello! I have over 10 years of experience caring for children and supporting families with reliable, thoughtful care. I hold a degree in Public Health from Cal Poly University, San Luis Obispo, and maintain current First Aid and CPR certifications. I've worked as an au pair in France, taught swim lessons, and served as a lifeguard before becoming a surf instructor. I feel very comfortable around children and the water, and I love helping kids build confidence through fun, active learning. I enjoy getting kids outside, cooking, helping with travel or carpooling, and keeping daily routines running smoothly. I speak a little Spanish and French and have traveled and taught surfing around the world, which has taught me to adapt easily and connect with children from all backgrounds. My goal is to create a safe, positive, and engaging environment where your children can thrive.
