Amanda nannied for my autistic son 3 days a week for about 9 months to help him prepare for kindergarten. Our expectation was for her to simply work 1:1 with him on the goals set by his therapists (speech, OT, feeding, social emotional)—she went above and beyond by developing a progress plan for him, advocating for him, joining us for teacher meetings, and has played an instrumental role in his skill development. She was even able to help him master skills that his therapists couldn’t quite make stick, like using scissors, drawing, and trying new foods. She also helps us with household management. Highly recommend Amanda!
