About Lena

I have my degree in education with a concentration in mathematics. I also have my juris doctorate degree from CKC of Law. I am licensed to teach 5th through 8th grade. My goal is to foster a welcoming and encouraging environment for all children to learn and grow educationally. I have experience tutoring grades kindergarten through middle school. During my time in undergrad I tutored through a program at my university working with children 5 to 13 years of age. I can tutor students in all subjects, but specialize in mathematics. I also worked as a math tutor at the college level through my university. I have also been a private tutor for multiple families. Additionally, I have experience nannying for multiple families. I have taken care of children from newborn to 12 years of age. My care included feeding, engaging in play and educational games with the children, and light housekeeping after the children during my time with them.
