About Amanda

I am a stay at home mom with two children of my own. I have my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Development and I hold a teacher license in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, and Elementary Education. I use Montessori toys and methods to raise my children and would do the same for any child I brought into our home (if the parents desire). I also believe in being united with parents and will interact with your child in a way that reflects your priorities. I am looking to nanny one child in my home and feel that my home is the best place to do this because it is set up in a way that aligns with Montessori teachings and has all of the tools and toys necessary to follow that. I am passionate about doing things the right way when it comes to nutrition, meaningful interactions, and intentional preparation of the play environment. I spent the last year nannying in my home and we had the BEST experience doing this! Let me know if I seem like a good fit!
