About Amanda

I'd describe my personality as easy going, curious, and joyful I like tutoring because I get to help students have "aha" moments and find their own joy in learning. Teaching students is much more important than just the subject. I get to be part of their journey to believe in themselves and become independent learners. I'm looking for a job that helps others in the community. One that allows me to fulfill my passions and make personal connections. I was a teacher for many years before returning home to be with my children. I've always enjoyed getting to work with students it was the best part of teaching. In my spare time, I like to enjoy nature and study local ecosystems. I enjoy going on walks with my family , reading, learning and cooking. One thing you should know about me is I will always do my best and take each job with serious dedication.
