About Amanda

I'm an experienced and dedicated childcare provider with a passion for fostering children's growth and development. I have a patient and calm personality and am also creative and imaginative, which helps me to connect with children of all ages. As a former camp counsellor and tumble coach for 4-14-year-olds, I'm comfortable caring for children of all ages. I'm also experienced in enforcing household rules and follow the parents' lead in this regard. I believe that communication is key in any relationship, and I make sure to keep parents updated on their child's day, either verbally at pickup or through regular text or phone call updates, depending on their preference. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including outdoor sports and physical games, as well as board games and puzzles. I have a car, am comfortable with pets, and am CPR certified.
