I've been nannying for over 7 years and am currently enrolled in a clinical mental health counseling masters program where I'm focusing my studies on child and adolescence therapy, and play therapy. I have experience working with children from 3 months to 18 years old. I'm a patient, creative, and friendly person who enjoys finding ways to help your family thrive. Im knowledgeable in developmental milestones and enjoy participating in age inspired play. I love doing arts and crafts in addition to playing outside, games, reading, and exploring special interests. I'm comfortable with pets. I'd be happy to follow house rules, and will communicate at a level that feels right for you. I am available from 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. mon - fri, but my night availability changes every semester. Our kids love Amanda! She’s watched our boys (1 and 5) multiple times and I always feel confident that she can handle both their energy and needs. Our boys feel very comfortable having her watch them and we really appreciate how much she enjoys interacting with them and making them feel seen. She does a great job ensuring their routines are consistent, and has never had any problems with specific care requirements (like when they need medication).
