About Amalya

I am 25, and I have a BA from Macalester College. I've been working professionally with Pre K-through-5th graders for the last 5 years. My experience is unique: from nannying in homes, to being an aide in classrooms, to then being the Parent Liaison in a preschool administration... I have seen all the joys and difficulties of childhood from all sides. Based on what I learned as a parent liaison, I have two main goals when nannying: to keep your child safe+happy, and to make your life easier in any way I can. I come with a passion for cooking, daily laundry/cleaning services, and even tricks to get your kids involved (I recently taught a very proud 5-year-old how to fold their own socks!) I love doing what matters to your child. They want to bake cookies? Here's my favorite recipe. They're learning how to play guitar? By the time you get home we'll have written a song.
