About Amaiya

Hello! My name is Amaiya! I currently attend Seattle University. I am studying Interdisciplinary Liberal Studies with a specialization in Elementary Education. I do not have a ton of paid experience working with children so I am looking to care. com for experience working with kids as I am looking to be an educator. I am looking for a part-time job over the summer and during the next school year. I am taking summer courses at Seattle University, but it looks like my late mornings and afternoons will be free! In high school, I worked with children ages 7-12 at the Boys and Girls Club in Everett, WA. I worked in the STEM program. This was a volunteer position. During my freshman year of college (this past year) I worked as a teachers assistant at Bailey Gatzert Elementary in a third grade class. This was an amazing opportunity as I was able to get into the classroom and start doing what I love to do! :) I also have experience babysitting with children ages 5-8.
