After graduating highschool I decided to become a CNA. I worked later wanted to work as a paraprofessional in a highschool special education classroom. I helped student with classwork and took them to other activities such as walking special Olympics practice and Library visits. at that time I also worked in a group home for men with IDDs. I helped with ADLs and to help them learn to live on their own ( cooking, cleaning, and grocery shopping). I also took them on outings ( drives, lake, parks, library) and to special events in the community. I absolutely loved this job but I needed to move to be closer to family so sadly I had to leave this job. Once I moved I found a job working as a one-on-one doing the same things as before but with one client instead of 5-6. Currently I'm working as a nanny.
